While children are not able to vocalize their needs until the age of one, they are paying close attention to everything you do and say. They will study the movement of your lips, responding to you with gentle coos, as you communicate with them. They will watch intently your hand and facial gestures when you speak to them or other family members. And they will undoubtedly mimic your patterns of communication.

The goal of Baby Spanish is to start children, from 6 months to 17 months old, on a wonderful and energetic journey to learning Spanish by immersing them in the language. Because children are active and learn best when they can participate in activities Baby Spanish incorporates the use of three of the five senses: hearing, sight and touch. Children will be encouraged to see and use various musical instruments, participate in familiar nursery rhymes as well as other cultural tunes, and enjoy many other visuals. This format will not only keep them engaged but will expose them to the wonderful world of Latin America.

An innovative program introducing conversational Spanish skills to young children. The method is for children along with their parents to learn Spanish in a fun format with songs, movement and hands-on activities. Children are exposed to the different phonetic sounds of the Spanish language through songs and conversations. As they listen to words and sentences, language comprehension is facilitated by the use of hand and body gestures as well as the use of props. Classes focus on listening skills, vocabulary development, language comprehension, social skills and fun.

Immersion classes are 45 minutes in length and are taught once per week. To maintain high quality of instruction, class size is limited to 4 to 5 children and their parent. In addition, resource materials include a 2 CD and songbook kit. These materials are used in the classes and parents are encouraged to reinforce their use at home.

Experienced native speaking instructors teach our students in a natural way through play, games, music, and conversation. Instruction centers on a "whole language" approach in which teachers introduce all four elements of language acquisition: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Our students learn to communicate through dialogues, phrases, expressions, drills, etc. that they can use with friends and family. Let them learn a second language the fun, natural way!
